Synopsis

Wildlife photographer Sage Winters arrives in Montana's backcountry expecting stunning landscapes and award-winning shots, not a confrontation with the most infuriatingly attractive man she's ever met. Mountain guide Crew Lawson has no patience for city tourists who think they can handle the wilderness, especially ones who show up unprepared and clearly out of their element. When Sage's equipment gets damaged and she's forced to extend her stay, Crew reluctantly agrees to guide her deeper into the mountains—for an outrageous fee that should send her packing. Instead, Sage accepts his terms, determined to capture the perfect shot even if it means spending weeks with a man who challenges her at every turn. As they navigate treacherous terrain and unpredictable weather, the tension between them shifts from antagonistic to explosive. Crew's protective instincts war with his desire to keep his distance, while Sage discovers that the wild freedom she's been chasing might have more to do with the rugged man beside her than the untamed landscape. When danger threatens and they're forced to rely on each other for survival, neither can deny the fierce attraction that's been building between them—or the fact that what started as a professional arrangement has become something much more primitive and consuming.
