This isn’t something you see every day (or ever). Milton Keynes Lighting and Belfast Giants were playing their Elite League match and things were getting heated near the goal.
A slapshot that was meant to go into the net ended up missing and bouncing right into another players shirt. With some wit and quick thinking, Patty Dwywer decided to just back it up into the goal and hope for the best!
Now, this goal didn’t count, but should it have? This hilarious situation has people all over the world debating the rules of hockey and if it should have counted or not.
Judge for yourself!
ð This is surely the greatest 'pants' goal not to be given ð
Should the @BelfastGiants goal have stood?
