Dad Builds Wheelchair-Accessible Snow Fort so Every Kid Can Join in the Fun

Gregg Eichorn and his wife are pretty much the sweetest people alive.

Not only has this Cincinnati couple adopted nine special needs children, but Gregg took it upon himself, after a snowstorm, to make sure all the kids could join in on the fun of a snow fort.

He built a massive igloo for the children that included a nook large enough so that his two kids in wheelchairs could fit inside.

Eichhorn’s friend posted images of the inclusive fort to social media, and the pictures have generated lots of buzz, primarily from people praising the father of nine for his simple act of love.

Eichhorn responded to the outpouring of support saying that he and his wife are happy to give their children the love they deserve and hope that it might inspire others to do the same.

“Our family is getting kind of full, and it would be great if people stepped up, took on the same roles, and enjoyed the kind of joy that we do,” Eichhorn told local news, WXIX. “We get a lot of joy out of life.”
